Lily's 1st Birthday, Arcade, and Bon Fire

After Bear world, we went back to the house to celebrate Lily's 1st birthday. Way to go Brittany... you are a good host and party planner because that was a great party! Everyone ate dinner on their own, and after, they came over to the house for cake and ice cream, fireworks, sparklers, and just to play. They all had a great time! {PS These photos are in no particular order}

 Lils loved to dip her fingers into the cake and then shove them into her mouth.
Hahahhaha so cute!

 The Arcade is in the local movie theater that also has a bowling alley. We went her just for the games after dinner one night. The kids loved playing the games to win tickets to cash in for toys and candy. They even hit a few jack pots. Look at the joy in their faces!

 The bon fire was sweet and simple. We roasted SUPER SIZE mallows which turned into s'mores and smelled like smoke for the rest of the night.

 Why and how am I making the same lame and crazy face?

Drive-In & Fair

Both Brittany and I felt like we belonged in Grease! It was so retro and classic... why don't we do this more often? The movies we saw were Mr. Poppin's Penguins and Monte Carlo...perfect for the kids! Mike and Brittany placed a blow-up bed in the bed of their truck... and take the term "bed" literally by making it a giant warm cozy bed. While all the kids got to snuggle, most of us adults were in great chairs and trunks of other cars. We originally were going to bring pizza, but decided to eat there at the drive-in. Such good food! It took about 25 min to make and it was like a small diner. {PS these photos are in no particular order}

Waiting for out delicious burgers and shakes... AND FRIES!

Adults in the chairs. {this is all of Mike's family}

My mom is in her trunk hahahahha

Me and Brit documenting that we were actually there!

The kids in their "bed"

 I LOVE THIS MORE THEN I REMEMBER!!!
This is the trailor for the new Muppet Movie.

 Use your imagination... One of the best burgers EVER!
They have this little diner and we also had Huckleberry Shakes.
AH.MAZE.ING

The fair was a lot of fun, we ate BB, funnel cakes, carmel apples and some bomb limeade. We even ran into Glenn Beck... for a millisecond. For entertainment, there were jump houses, sumo wrestling suits, hypnosis show, hot rod car show, and face painting.  By the way, I LOVE HYPNOSIS SHOWS!!! Hilarious!! And that shiz is trippy! I secretly would like to be a volunteer... but I get too scared!

 The fair had this amazing car show.
I forgot to take more photos. One day I would like
to own something like this! I love retro.

 Everything was free!!! Ella in the jump house.

 She was really scared because it was a little too big.

 Awesome face paint. Waited in line for over an hour!

First time I left Eke with a baby sitter. This is how he was when
I came home! ahhhaha his butt has been in the air a lot while he sleeps.

Bear World

If you love animals as much as I do, then you have to spend time at Bear World! It is like Disneyland away from Disneyland ahhahhha. I gasped at everything I saw. It made me soooooo happy.

A little background... it is a park... just like Jurassic Park where you get to drive around and see all these amazing animals. Then you park and go to the petting zoo and gift store that has amazing Huckleberry Fudge... and there are free rides for kids. Because you go less then 5 mph when driving through the park, you are able to hold your children in your lap. Ekemona loved it! I don't know if it was the animals he enjoyed or just the fun of looking out the window with the wind in his face. Anyways, I love it and I love making the trip here every time! {PS the photos are out of order... and I don't even care!}

I only seemed to get the rear view of all the bears!

MOOOOOOSE!!

Cubs

I loved how you could see the trout! At one point I saw the duck
swimming underwater. It was amazing!

 BEAR FRIES!!! They are as good as they look!

There were baby deer too!

 We grew up with these kinds of chickens. Aren't they sweet?
Call me white trash.... but I want chickens when we have a house of our own!

 This peacock had the most beautiful blue feathers. Ohhh I loved him!

 Choo Choooooo!!!

 Exhausted!!!

Tradtion: Grandkids get to pick out a bear when they are at Bear World.
Meet Maximus... We gave Eke a handful of bears and this
is the one he played with. I named him because
no matter the thing, it needs a name.
Eke was cuddling with Max on Monday.

 Do you see the precious little baby deer?

 Turkeys, guess what, we had these too growing up.

 I just loooooooove animals!!!

 Hahahah This bear made his own Lazy Boy

 This guy is swimming/bathing!

 Almost got this guy instead of Max... I am happy we got Eke the bear.
But isn't he cute?

 Who can get enough of these bear cubs?
